This year has been so humbling. The #VXNArmyDMV was off to such a great start earlier 2020 - we were hitting a stride. When the pandemic came, I feared all of the hard work and community we'd grown would disappear. Thankfully, we were able to come online and now we've evolved into something else... I've learned to trust myself and the community we've built.

Unlike other workouts, we're a community-based program. Part of our teachings is to love ourselves and each other. To support one another no matter what. The #VXN community has helped me through so many stages in my life: job changes, moving to new cities, making new friends, trying new things, and now, surviving a modern-day pandemic, civil rights paradigm shift and global recession.

We were built for crisis. So many of our people come to class to dance through the stuff they're facing personally Now we're all facing the same big obstacles and coming together to get through it.

I feel so blessed to be part of something so beautiful. Love y'all 💗
