Green Dreams 💚⁣
I’m in my hometown this week and have spent 84% of my time in the backyard. Allergies, mosquitos and all 🙃. ⁣
⁣
I’m taking it easy this week, my husband and I agreed it necessary. ⁣
I’m taking naps (unheard of), driving (requires me to be in the moment), practicing self care (thank you browgamemiami and liv2dye), seeing loved ones (thankfully). ⁣
And of course, eating all the foods I want and dearly missed.⁣
⁣
I have a guilt in sharing this about myself because I know so many of us do not have the luxury to go back home and see loved ones right now. I’m experiencing it now with my husband #MilitaryLife. So I share this in hopes that I plant the seed to make your realize that you need time for yourself. You need at least an hour a day to just be. To do anything you want or need to protect your mental health. Because if you don’t, when life finally lets you catch a break, your peace will be stolen. You will lose them to your worries, your errands, your scars, your obsessive thoughts. You will not be able to just BE.⁣

We don’t want to lose you to your thoughts. We need you. Please take care of yourself 💚.⁣
