Unedited raw footage of walking the Hollywood Walk of Fame on May 25, 2025, featuring celebrity stars and soaking in the iconic Hollywood scene, just as millions of visitors do every year.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is an iconic Los Angeles landmark featuring over 2,700 five-pointed terrazzo-and-brass stars set into the sidewalks along 1.3 miles of Hollywood Boulevard (from Gower Street to the Hollywood & La Brea Gateway) and 0.4 miles of Vine Street (between Yucca Street and Sunset Boulevard), with a short spur on Marshfield Way. First installed in 1960 to honor outstanding contributions to entertainment, the stars bear names ranging from actors and musicians to producers, directors, theatrical groups, athletes, and even fictional characters. The program—overseen by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and maintained by a self-financing trust—is funded by fees paid by honorees or their sponsors (currently \$85,000), and the site draws millions of visitors each year.

Each coral-pink terrazzo star, framed in brass, displays the honoree’s name above a round brass emblem denoting one of six categories—motion pictures, television, music, radio, theater/live performance, or sports entertainment. To date, roughly half recognize film, about a quarter television, and the rest are distributed among music, radio, theater, and sports; around 30 new stars are added annually.

Many prominent celebrities appeared before the TCL Chinese Theatre, while Oscar winners often found their names near the Dolby Theatre. Some placements play on humorous or ironic connections—Mike Myers’s star fronts an adult boutique in homage to his Austin Powers role; Roger Moore’s and Daniel Craig’s share 7007 Hollywood Boulevard in salute to 007; and Ed O’Neill’s stands outside a shoe store, nodding to his Married… with Children character. Though the Chamber makes the final call, honorees may request specific sites: Jay Leno chose Hollywood & Highland, where he was once mistaken for a vagrant; George Carlin opted for the KDAY radio station at Sunset & Vine; Lin-Manuel Miranda’s star fronts the Pantages Theatre; and Carol Burnett selected the corner of Hollywood & Wilcox—the spot where she’d once been fired as an usherette.
