ABOUT
Universal Studios Florida is an amusement park in Orlando, Florida, that welcomed its first visitors on June 7, 1990. Managed by NBCUniversal, the park boasts an array of rides, attractions, and live entertainment, predominantly inspired by movies, television, and other areas of the entertainment world. It was the inaugural theme park at Universal Orlando Resort, later joined by Universal Islands of Adventure in 1999 and the water park Universal Volcano Bay in 2017. In 2019, Universal Studios Florida attracted about 10.9 million visitors, ranking it the eleventh most visited park worldwide and the sixth in North America. A new park, Universal Epic Universe, is slated to open in May 2025.

The inspiration to build the Orlando park came from the success of Universal Studios Hollywood in the 1980s, aiming to rival the offerings of Walt Disney World. Notably, early projects saw contributions from acclaimed Hollywood director Steven Spielberg, and over the years, many attractions have been crafted in close cooperation with film directors, producers, and actors. The park's initial design included functioning production studios to give guests a behind-the-scenes view of film and television production—a concept borrowed from its Hollywood counterpart. However, as local film production interest waned, the park became a more immersive, first-person experience.

Among its notable events, Universal Studios Florida hosts the annual Halloween Horror Nights during the fall, transforming the park with haunted houses and scare zones on select evenings. One of its major attractions is Diagon Alley, part of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which opened in 2014. Also, E.T. Adventure—introduced at the park's grand opening in 1990—remains the sole original ride in operation.

Entertainment Tonight, commonly known as ET, is an American syndicated entertainment news magazine that airs in first-run syndication across the United States, distributed by CBS Media Ventures and owned by Paramount Streaming. The show debuted on September 14, 1981, and has earned the Guinness World Record for being the longest-running entertainment news program on television. International editions of the program are handled by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
