Experience this in brand-new haunted houses inspired by Sony Pictures' latest film, “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,” premiering at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort on Friday, August 30, and at Universal Studios Hollywood on Thursday, September 5. The all-new “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” haunted houses at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort bring the latest chapter of the iconic Ghostbusters saga to life. These authentic haunted houses blend horror and humor, featuring ghosts, creatures, and characters from both the latest film and the classic series. In “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,” fans will be transported to New York City, where the Spengler family collaborates with the original Ghostbusters, now running a secret ghost-busting research facility. After the discovery of an ancient relic unleashes the vengeful spirit of Garraka—who threatens to freeze the world—Ghostbusters new and old must unite to prevent an impending Ice Age. As visitors explore the haunted houses, they’ll delve deep into the supernatural world, from Ray’s Occult Books to the Ghostbusters' cutting-edge lab and containment facility, all the way to the dark and eerie New York City sewer system. Fans will journey alongside the Ghostbusters, facing slimy ghosts and vengeful villains, all while escaping terrifying creatures determined to shatter bones and turn blood to ice. Battling through these freezing and fearsome conditions, the Ghostbusters must rely on their trademark humor and quick thinking to save the city from a chilling menace beyond imagination.
