Wow! Absolutely amazed after our best event yet! Over 350 people came together at the 5th Asian Football Awards at Wembley Stadium, and what an unforgettable evening it was. The event started with a buzzing networking session in the presence of The FA Cup and Women’s FA Cup trophies, followed by a celebration of the remarkable achievements of individuals and organisations making a real impact for South Asians in football.

Bringing together major football stakeholders, sponsors, influential business leaders, and, of course, the South Asian football community was a true testament to the power of unity. The energy and passion in the room were uplifting, and I couldn’t be prouder of the movement we’ve built. Since our last event in 2017, it’s been amazing to reignite the awards, and I’m committed to ensuring these celebrations happen more consistently—there is so much more to recognise and celebrate.

However, our work is far from done. There’s still a long way to go in addressing the underrepresentation of South Asians in football here in the UK. We will continue using the Asian Football Awards as a platform to highlight both the successes across the industry and the work that still needs to be done.

A massive thank you to our sponsors, partners, and supporters—without whom events like this would not be possible. It’s imperative that more come forward to support this cause in order to help accelerate South Asian representation in football. Your contributions are invaluable in making this movement a reality.

Now that the dust has settled, I’ve got a bit more free time! So, if anyone’s interested in getting involved as a sponsor, just drop me a DM. Let’s meet up and chat—I’m always up for a good conversation (or an excuse to get out for some coffee).

A huge congratulations to not only the winners but also to everyone who made the shortlist. Each and every one of you has achieved something truly special, and you should be incredibly proud of your contributions. The future of South Asians in football looks brighter than ever! Watch this space for details of the next Asian Football Awards!

Thank you 🙏🏼
