Today was a good day for inventivesports athletes..

⚽️🇮🇳 On international duty, Sahal Abdul Samad had a bright game for India assisting their opening goal. The semi-final finished 2-2 FT, however they lost out on penalties to an Iraq team ranked 20 places higher. (Kings Cup - Thailand).

🏏🇳🇱 Vikram Singh and Shariz Ahmad were named in the Netherlands squad to travel to the Cricket World Cup taking place in India next month.

⚽️🇮🇳 Jesin TK scored a hat-trick to take his East Bengal side to the Super Sixes of the Calcutta Football League. It was rounded off by a well taken goal from Vishnu PV. Incidentally, Jesin’s hat-trick was the first for the club in over 4 years (and he only came on at half time).

⚽️🇮🇳 Girik Khosla and his Delhi FC side picked up the Climate Cup which took place in Leh Ladakh. The venue was at an altitude of 3,524 m (11,562 ft).
