1985年，生於有「日本古都」之稱的京都。 受一直想成為畫家的祖父影響，武藤隆輔 從小就接觸很多繪畫和古董。 長大後，他不但成為了DJ和音樂製作人，更開始創作浮世繪畫作。

浮世繪是日本傳統藝術的代表之一。「浮世」這詞本來就有「現代」的意思，而「浮世繪」就是一種以繪畫每天日常生活為主的一個畫作類型。

武藤 ryusukemuto 把「浮世繪」和「現代元素」結合，創造了「現代浮世繪」這個新的藝術風格。至今，他的畫作不但獲得日本國內的好評，在2018年更代表日本出席在斯洛文尼亞舉行的世界 藝術座談會；同年的12月，他亦在台灣舉辦了展覽，大受歡迎。現在，武藤 更開始擴展推出不同產品，例如有時裝、雕塑等。

Japanese Ukiyo-e Artist - Ryusuke Muto

Born in the capital of Japanese ancient - Kyoto, in 1985. Under the influences from his grandfather who aimed to be a painter, Ryusuke grew up and inspired by paintings and antiques. And now, he has not just become a DJ and music producer, but also started to create his own Ukiyo-e paintings.

Ukiyo-e is the representative of traditional Japanese arts. “Ukiyo” also represents “Modern”. “Ukiyo-e” relates to drawings of people’s everyday life. Ryusuke has created a new style “Modern Ukiyo-e” by combining the two elements together.

Today, Ryusuke’s paintings are not just praised by Japan, as he also represented Japan to participate the world’s art symposium held in Slovenia in 2018. In December the same year, he held an exhibition in Taiwan. Recently, Ryusuke has been expanding his brand to launch products like apparels and sculptures.
