5-hour ENERGY® just dropped two limited-edition donut flavors, Jelly Donut and Boston Cream, so I hopped on my bike for a 25-mile ride to settle the debate the only way that made sense: by eating my way across Los Angeles.

🍩 Shop the new flavors:

The Tour de Donut covered about 20 miles and four LA donut shops in a single day. It kicked off in Santa Monica with a cakey strawberry donut studded with actual fruit, then rolled over to a Santa Monica institution stacked floor to ceiling with every classic you could dream of.

From there I cruised to the Venice skate park to ask locals and tourists whether they're Team Boston Cream or Team Jelly Donut.

The answers got passionate, and one guy grabbed his guitar and serenaded us with a song about 5-hour ENERGY® on the spot. After a coconut-glazed detour in Marina del Rey, I finished at Doughboys in El Segundo, an unassuming strip mall gem with a history going back to the mid-'80s that ended up stealing the whole show.

Six donuts later, I picked a side. Watch to find out which team won, then tell me yours in the comments.

Both flavors are sugar-free and available at 5hourENERGY.com and on Amazon while supplies last.
