J’adore Dior? Then you will love the #cape we pulled #OutoftheBox this week at #MdHS ! This early #1970s blue silk cape was worn by the Duchess of Windsor.  Bessie Wallis Warfield Simpson was an American socialite who grew up right here in Baltimore, Maryland before becoming the woman for whom King Edward VIII abdicated his throne.  Wallis loved #Paris and its fashion; she was often seen wearing Givenchy and Dior.  This blue Dior cape features a stunning high collar, clean lines, and simple, large buttons.  It is easy to imagine her walking the streets of Paris in her Dior Cape!
