Does anyone wish anyone “happy environment day?”
Not much I guess…
Not many feel the importance to do such a thing on such an important day. Many wouldn’t even know that today is environment day. If you did know, consider yourself a step closer to being a responsible human being.
But it takes much more than just knowing….you need to act….everyone needs to act, not just today but everyday as one form of kindness to the environment makes a humongous impact.
So this environment day let's try our best to be good human being starting from our very own home.
Sharing a few small changes you can incorporate in your daily life
1. Save water, take shorter showers.
2. Switch off electric appliances when not in use.
3. Segregate garbage. (People find this so difficult for some reason, its so simple, start by having different dust bins)
4. Plant a sapling. Perhaps even get a cactus, its the easiest to tend to plus it adds some elegance to your interiors.
5. Use less plastic. When you go shopping, take you own bag.
6. When you do step out, avoid using vehicles for shorter distances, walk or cycle, switch off ignition at signals
7. Use a menstrual cup or sustainable alternatives instead of synthetic pads during periods
8. Carry your own bottle of water to avoid plastics
.

With that Leafy Affair wishes a Happy Environment Day to you all!! #leafyaffair #environment #environmentday #environmentday2020 #gogreen #allthingsbotanical #smallbusiness #indoorplants #indoorplantsdecor #houseplants #beresponsible #savewater #bekind #myeverydaymagic #doyourpart #saveearth #socialmedia #botanicaljewelry #nature
