Presented by @rolex. Rehabilitating rescued pangolin infants isn't easy, since they need to be taught how to forage for the tens of thousands of insects a grown pangolin eats on a daily basis. Every day, young pangolins being cared for at the Tikki Hywood Foundation are taken for walks in the woods by their human minders, who show them how to fend for themselves by helping them find ants and termites until they figure out how to do it on their own. Through its partnership with the National Geographic Society and as part of its Perpetual Planet Initiative, #Rolex supports expeditions exploring and protecting remarkable places around the world, a selection of which are featured in #AfricaEarthsWildHome. #PerpetualPlanet Learn more about the Tikki Hywood Foundation's work to protect pangolins in the October edition of National Geographic at the 🔗 in bio.
