Certified! The 737 MAX 9 was awarded type certification by the FAA and is now being prepped for first delivery to The Lion Air Group.
FAA certification affirms that the airplane’s handling, systems and overall performance all comply with required aviation regulations to ensure safety of flight. It marks the culmination of a test flight program that began in March 2017 involving two test flight airplanes.
