## Caption

The eighth Wideband Global SATCOM (#WGS) satellite was launched 12/07 aboard a ULALaunch #DeltaIV rocket at Cape Canaveral, Fla.
The USAirForce uses WGS to provide critical communications for US and allied military forces around the world. WGS-8 is equipped with a state-of-the-art digital payload that will nearly double the available bandwidth when compared to previous WGS satellites. Congrats on the successful launch!
