Shown here is the BEMAC, circa 1940s, used during the development of the Ground-to-Air Pilotless Aircraft to help with various calculations, which saved engineers hundreds of labor hours. At Boeing, IT is at the heart of all of its innovations, both in the air and on the ground - such as the #wireless technology and programming needed for robots (pictured) that paint, rivet and drill on airplane assembly lines.
