A ROCKIN' GOOD TIME! This weekend, Idaho's 25th Army Band Idaho Army National Guard hosted its first annual Battle of the Bands at Kleiner Park in Meridian. Local bands were invited to perform in a contest judged by the 25th Army Band and the surrounding crowd. Awarded first place was the local band, Fleeting Confidence. They were awarded a new drum set.

The Wayne Byerly Band was awarded second place and Ten Second Tom was awarded third place and best band, chosen by the audience. This is an event that the Idaho National Guard's 25th Army Band expects to host each summer, so tell your garage band friends! It was a good time had by all. #outinourcommunity #battleofthebands #weloveourlocalcommunity #musiclovers
