It’s about to get crazy, it’s about to go down at the Gowen Thunder airshow! Here is a glimpse of the A-10 Thunderbolt II in action last week at Saylor Creek range for Hawg Day hosted by the 124th Fighter Wing. Hawg Day is a small event held for service members, their families and friends to see the A-10 Thunderbolt II in action and how their efforts directly impact the mission. You can see the A-10s in action along with the USAF Thunderbirds, US Army Golden Knights and other aircraft, aerial and ground acts at the Gowen Thunder airshow on Aug 26, 27 at Gowen Field and it’s free to the public. Go to Gowen Thunder’s website and social media sites for more information. There is a plan for parking and bussing to location as well as an option to purchase VIP tickets to the show and there will be venders galore! Yum.
