## Caption

July 1st is National Postal Workers Day! It is a day to make sure to send thanks to those that make sure our mail arrives in a timely manner.

For today, Jared letterpress printed two electrotype (copies) that was made in the 1930s and depict many of the common words and images you would find printed on the outside of packages and mail such as fragile, rush, do not bend, caution, etc. This was printed with black rubber base ink using our Washington hand press.

We are thankful for our mail carriers for sending out our online orders and also for those who have been supporting the Sacramento History Museum by purchasing from our store.
