April 21st is National Tea Day! This day honors the popular beverage around the world, but especially in the UK. It is also the birthday of the late Queen Elizabeth II. Did you know that she once visited Sacramento? On March 4, 1983, she spent about 4 hours in the city stopping at the State Capitol and Sutter’s Fort.  For today, Jared letterpress printed a modern photo engraving that was once used to print handouts for a previous event held by the Sacramento History Museum. The text in the print reads “The Golden Tea Party” next to a tea kettle.
