We are feeling a bit sentimental today! On July 22, 2020, Jared posted our first video on the social media app, TikTok. It was a video to promote sign ups for our virtual History Camp while the museum was closed due to the pandemic. That video received a handful of views but it changed our approach to social media and posting short videos became a major way we discuss history on our accounts.  Through trial and error, the Sacramento History Museum now has close to 2.6 million followers on TikTok and it has helped grow our other channels. Thank you for watching our videos and thank you for supporting the Sacramento History Museum.
