## Caption

June 3rd is National Black Bear Day! This day, observed on the first Saturday in June each year, ecognizes the most commonly found bear in North America. Since we typically use black ink, this is a “beary” good day to print for. For today, Jared letterpress printed an electrotype, made roughly 80-90 years ago, from the Bill Gaylord Collection. Since we’ve been printing many cuts from the Bill Gaylord Collections lately, Jared also discussed Bill’s connection to the Sacramento History Museum and our print shop. #NationalBlackBearDay #blackbear #bear #SacHistoryMuseum #museumtok #letterpress #printing
