DYK: Of the thousands of junior market animals that compete at the Stock Show each year, only 96 of the very best qualify for the exciting Auction of Junior Livestock Champions.

This year's auction brought in a record-smashing $1,189,500! And, that's not the only record-setting statistic, 12yo Rhylee Rodgers and her Grand Champion Steer, Yellers, sold for a record $160,000.

Here's a look at some special moments from in and outside of the ring that night. ➡️

Proceeds from the Auction of Junior Livestock Champions go to the National Western Scholarship Trust. The Trust provides 110 scholarships each year to college students studying agricultural science, business, and rural medicine. [ Learn more at our link in bio ]
