♻️Recycling will still matter after all this. Suay believes that and we hope you do too. This month there is a tiny mention about suaysewshop in a bigger article about wornwear patagonia in elleusa magazine about the amazing #recrafted line launched last fall. Suay has always been an #upcycler it’s our speciality and why we opened Suay to begin with. Weekly we cut up thousands of pounds of deemed end of life and liability material and turn it into product desirable and durable enough for an entire second life. We will make masks and other things our communities desperately need until who knows when, but #remade will continue to be in our hearts and on our minds until we get back to the piles of trashed textiles with our name on it 😍. 100,000 masks is possible if you have cut up 20,000+ destroyed down jackets to made them usable again. We can be strong and work hard. For you, the planet and #futuregenerations to come. Shifting habits is one of the hardest things about making change. #reusing #rethinking #remaking is something we can reflect on while we wait to enter back into life in full swing. If it’s broke, fix it. If it’s there, use it. Resouces are not infinite and I think we are all getting a big dose of that right now. 🤪#wearyourvalues ,
