Replying to @user3131679378585 So this is why I quit my corporate design job – The whole time I had this job, I was always thinking about freelancing full-time. I knew the easiest way to do this with the least risk involved was to make sure I had steady work as soon as I left. I was already contracting, creating content for a brand on a monthly basis, and I had contracted with smaller agencies doing design work on a weekly basis. Of course, this is all not including the time I wanted to put in working on my social media, as well as working on branding projects for small businesses. Overall, I was spreading myself WAY too thin, and although my full-time job was remote and paid well for the amount of time I worked, I knew in my heart and have always known that I want to work for myself. After I got one more client, I knew it was time to take the risk (although very calculated) and quit my job. I’m excited for the future of working as a freelance graphic designer and content creator. I’m looking forward to working with fun brands and clients, and truly bring myself to work everyday. I’m excited to bring you on this journey with me (I know it’s going to be a long one!) #freelancegraphicdesigner #brandingidentitydesigner #aspiringgraphicdesigner #mycareerjourney #graphicdesignjourney #graphicdesigncommunity
