Hard truth: We can’t change the system if we don’t understand its realities. ❌🏛️

That’s why girlup & unyouthaffairs are debunking the myths of #youth and female representation in #politics. From high barriers of entry into political spaces to a lack of accessible resources, it’s time to confront these injustices head-on so more girls & youth can #BeSeenBeHeard.

All throughout #WomensHistoryMonth, the #GirlUp community will be shining a spotlight on #LegendsOfLeadership from around the globe—historical female heroes in the civic rights space that have bravely expanded the rights of women to participate in politics.

Knowing that 2024 is an incredibly significant year for #elections around the world, we’ll be sharing actionable ways for YOU to be more civically engaged in your communities, whether it’s:

🗳️ Registering to vote
📝 Signing a petition
📣 Leading a march
💻 Enrolling in Girl Up’s free leadership course on bit.ly/GirlUpAcademy
🌟 Locally advocating for change with beseenbeheardcampaign.com

It’s time for a more inclusive and equitable world. Are you ready? 💪🌍
