About Focus: 

There’s a person I know working in the real estate industry, who told me that he didn’t close a deal for the last 6 months. And I told the person, that I’m not surprised, despite the person looks great, has great communication skills, smart enough. 

Few words about him. This person lives in a very comfortable environment: beautiful house in a luxury area, adorable kids, family, good car, some money from spouse. Moreover, this person told me “I’m happy with small things in my life!” 

Then, I asked a question: “Why would you strive for more, if you feel enough? Why would you even be upset about not closing a deal, if deep inside you do not have a need?”

Person tried to convince me, that he really wants to close a deal. I asked: “Why?” Reply followed: “I want to prove my spouse that I can close a deal!” 

I asked: “Would you be okay, if you close a deal, but you don’t take your share of commissions, as your main motivation isn’t money, but to prove your spouse?”
Person laughed and said: “Of course, NO!” 

Followed my control question: “How much is enough for you to make per month?” The person couldn’t give me a definite answer at all. It was something like “More is better!” Here we go… Most people do the same. 

Now to conclude it, if you want “your best friend” (your unconscious mind) to take you somewhere in life, you should tell it in very much details about what you want, how you want, how much you want, where you want, from who you want, in which weather you want, at what time you want, in which daytime you want, in which weekday you want, etc. If you don’t do it, then your unconscious mind takes your WISH as a joke and something you’re not serious about. Which is, most probably, the truth! Because it knows …
