(I’ll never forget about a year and change ago when queen emcdowell brought me to queen realbakingwithrose’s book party at mahzedahrbakery and I met chrishoelck, telling him on the spot I wanted to do a feature of modern rugelach for finecookingmag. It was an exercise in patience as I developed the recipes probably almost a year before the feature went live last winter, styled beautifully by samanthaseneviratne.
