Aircraft hangars are equipped with a fire suppression system to ensure the safety of all those who work there. Our new 787 Dreamliner hangar at Calgary International Airport will open this spring and one of the major milestones before we can start using the hangar is to test the fire suppression system. It takes only a few minutes to fill our entire hangar with about 3m (10 ft) of foam. Here's a quick look at how it happens.
