We yolk up like this, so I decided to show alexhshapiro how to make shakshuka, involving everything from knife skills to how to open a jar of cinnamon! #feedfeed #shakshuka #eggs #yolkporn #recipevideos #gay #gaychef #middleeastern #cookingbaesics

Here's the recipe:
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 red onion, thinly sliced
1 red bell pepper, stemmed, cored and thinly sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, stemmed, cored and thinly sliced
1 jalapeno, stemmed, seeded and diced
2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Kosher salt, to taste
One 28-ounce can diced tomatoes
One 15-ounce can crushed tomatoes
6 eggs
Feta, for garnish
Sliced radishes, for garnish
Microgreens, for garnish
1. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onions, peppers, jalapeno and garlic, then cook until caramelized and softened, about 15 minutes.
2. Stir in cumin and cinnamon and cook until fragrant, 1 minute. Add tomatoes and bring to a simmer, then cook until sightly thickened, 10 minutes. Season with salt.
3. Using a wooden spoon, make 6 wells in the sauce and crack an egg into each. Season each egg with salt, then cover and simmer until the whites of the eggs have set and the yolks are still runny, 3-4 minutes. Garnish with feta, sliced radishes and microgreens, then serve.
