In collaboration with scientists at the CDC, Harvard Medical School, Monash U, Brigham Health, Austin Health, and ARCHANGELS, WHOOP is thrilled to offer our members a chance to take part in a study that could potentially impact policy-making, preparation and mitigation of global pandemics going forward. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Over the next 72 hours all current WHOOP members in Australia, Canada, Ireland, The UK, and The US will be given the opportunity to opt-in to a 20-minute survey in the WHOOP app, asking detailed questions on:⁣⁣
⁣⁣
• nutrition⁣⁣
• exercise⁣⁣
• illness⁣⁣
• personal and professional lifestyle⁣⁣
• mental health⁣⁣
• stress ⁣⁣
• and more in relation to COVID-19⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Using this survey combined with WHOOP recovery, strain, and sleep data, we will research how physiology and self-reported behaviors have changed in order to better understand the role of sleep as a potential mediator of symptom and the impact #COVID19 has had on our physical and mental health.⁣⁣
