During what would have been Masters Week, WHOOP is excited to share our sit down with World no. 1 professional golfer, Rory Mcilroy!⁣
⁣
Looking for a tool to help him sharpen the edges of his performance, Rory came across WHOOP and found the performance insights were exactly what he needed to excel his technical and mental acuity for the game. Since then, Rory has been a key part of the WHOOP community, rocking both the wrist strap and the bicep band in training and on the course in major PGA tournaments.⁣
⁣
On this episode, willahmed and rorymcilroy discuss a wide-range of topics regarding his career, what drives him, and #whywhoop. Watch the full video or listen to hear them discuss:⁣
⁣
• How he knew he was going to be a professional golfer from an early age⁣
• His 2011 collapse at the Masters and how it made him a better player⁣
• The important of the mental aspect of golf and how WHOOP has helped him excel on the biggest stage⁣
• What WHOOP has taught him about sleep and preparing for each day.⁣
• His relationship with Justin Thomas, Tiger Woods, Tom Brady, and some of the biggest athletes in the world⁣
⁣
Right now, while Rory and many others adjust to the postponement of competitions worldwide, WHOOP is proud to be able to help him adapt to new routines and adjust his training. With rescheduled PGA Tour dates recently announced, we cannot wait to settle back into some sense of normalcy and watch Rory go for another kind of #inthegreen by pursuing the green jacket. ⁣
