TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY

Morning everyone! This end of my kitchen was a bit of a horror show compared to the rest of the room (swipe for before), but I ignored it for ages, until we started being able to have visitors again after lockdown. And then I realised people didn’t just want to peer in through the door, they actually wanted to sit IN the kitchen and then LOOK AROUND! The sheer horror 😂

Being in a rental - which includes the fridge - I couldn’t replace it, or paint it, so I wrapped it in bright green vinyl. A lot of you might think that’s a bit extra extra, but that’s just how I roll 😂 And actually I love it and it’s still in perfect condition 6 months later!

I also made zig zag paneling to cover the doors of my old Ikea pax wardrobes, which used to be in my bedroom. I now use them as a kind of larder and they house my kitchen bin and cleaning stuff.

Stories on how I did both are in my highlights.

Anyone else get a bit horrified when visitors always sit and look in the one place you don’t want them to?! 😂
