Morning everyone! Zach’s had a turn with the beautiful snow leopard sculpture by artsagainstabuse this week, which she’s made completely from the recycling in her kitchen (how amazing is that?!). I love seeing his reaction to it. It’s just the best moment when you see your big teenage boy melt! 🥰

I’ve never actually shown you this whole wall of Zach’s room before, because I desperately want to paint the wooden door dark blue, as the warmish pine just has the wrong vibe. But I can’t because I’m in a rental.

But a couple of days ago the strong afternoon sun really bleached it out (and I’ve cooled the colour a bit more in editing), which is making me think there might be other rental friendly options for this door, because I actually quite like this look!

What do you think?

PS I’m also in love with the new stunning green and blue glass on his desk from fab local shop rigbyandmac!

Finally, I just want to say a huge goodbye to Jo hardcastletowers who is hosting the brilliant storyofmyhome for the very last time today! Jo was one of the key people who supported me at the beginning of my Instagram journey 18 months ago and I think she’s amazing. So Jo, have a wonderful time with everything else you have planned - Ready, Steady Go! xxx
