Good morning everyone! So a couple of weeks ago, while I was running round trying to tidy up the flat and get lots of painting done etc, Duffy our fluffy (no longer) puppy, decided to do one of his mad dash running round in crazy circles things and knocked over a tin of green paint on to one of the rugs in here! It was horrifying!

But you know what, it was just sooo awful that I literally just walked away from it, shut the door and left it. I didn’t even react, because it was just too much deal with.

Luckily, it spilt on the worst, cheapest rug, so that partly mitigated it and the upside was it gave me a fabulous excuse to buy a replacement, which turned out to be this gorgeous cotton giant banana leaf one from dunelmuk, which I absolutely LOVE in here! (Not an ad). It’s freshened and brightened the whole room, giving it an almost enchanted forest feel, especially with the blue door frame on the left.

Have any of you ever had something so awful happen like this that you’ve had to just walk away?! 😂

In other news, I have almost the whole process of the steady climb up the DIY ladder of me making zig zag paneling for my upcycled kitchen cupboards over on stories at the mo. Full reveal coming soon!

Have a lovely Sunday everyone!
