Morning everyone! I’m totally thrilled that this picture of my staircase is in thetimes - timesproperty today!

It’s a fantastic feature about painted staircases by vbrzez and also includes the glorious staircases of my fellow colourfiedhomes host Clara dustandbricks, as well as Jay paintthetownpastel and ourgreyhaven, with Fab advice from _lisa_dawson_. Will post it on Stories when I get a copy!

Swipe to see a before picture. As I’m in a rental, I actually painted some wood textured self adhesive removable wallpaper, which I then cut to size and stuck to the risers.

They lasted brilliantly (nearly 2 years) until I fell down the stairs with a heavy piece of furniture recently and ripped some of them! So the fantastic guys at vinylwarehouse.co.uk just made me some more, cut perfectly to size and in exactly the same colour, so that I could get them all perfect again for the filming with Sophie Robinson! BIG THANK YOU to Jeff for that! 💙

I hand painted the mural up the side, inspired by the artwork of linneaanderssonofficial.

🦋 I’m hosting colourfiedhomes today, so get sharing your colourful Before & After transformations and remember to use our #colourfiedhomes hashtag! I’ll be choosing my favourite for the grid after 5pm.
