Morning everyone! What are you staring at?! Bright coral in my colour scheme?! Oh yes!! I had a spontaneous change in my bedroom a few days ago and added this gorgeous colour, which I’m enamoured with at the moment and really makes a statement against the green.

When I was sick for all those months I just needed cool blues and greens around me and found it difficult to spend much time with warm colours. This often happens when I’m more seriously ill - which is not surprising, as blues and greens are really healing colours.

But now that all my zest for life is returning, I want a hit of those rich hot colours. The great thing about the fab Deep Water Green on my bedroom walls is that, being so prevalent in nature, it goes with so many other colours, so I can really change the feel in here whenever I like. Nature rules!

By the way, the new velvet bedspread is in fact just an IKEA curtain - I love ready-made curtains - they’re so multi functional. Next week it might be a decadent table cloth!

I’ve also added some floating shelves in a very very VERY subtle ombré as they go up - the difference looked a lot more dramatic as I painted them 😂 But I love having a place where I can display a variety of mini pictures and plants and things.

What do you think?!
