Morning everyone! Some of you may have seen in Stories on Sunday that I’ve been having to isolate - away from the kids - in my bedroom for a few days until I go into hospital tomorrow morning for surgery. And I have to say, it’s Marvellous! Enforced ‘Me time’ (apart from work and 10 parent teacher meetings of course!). 

But because I can’t photograph anywhere else in the flat at the moment - and I’ve done a few in here recently - I thought I’d stick myself in the picture for a bit of variety. All in a day’s work 😉

But errrm .... hello! How do the rest of you do it?! I bought a tripod for my phone, but it’s not very tall and barely holds the weight of the phone anyway, so it proved useless. So instead, I gaffer taped my phone to the top handle of my step ladders, set it on 10 secs timer and then RAN to my bed, flew into position and just about managed to pick up a book and smile before the camera fired. Just a little unfortunate that it was a book about cactuses! I hate to break it to you, but I really don’t spend my leisure time reading up on cactii. 😂 

So anyway, once I’m out of surgery, I’ll just be taking it one day at a time and it might mean multiple bedroom pictures for a while - probably more without me, than with me. But what do you think? Which would you prefer?! And don’t worry, I won’t be offended 😂
