Hello everyone! So this is a big moment - my first ever pumpkin picture on Instagram AND my first ever table flatlay! Both so much harder than I thought! Does everyone else end up doing precarious arabesques at the top of a ladder to get these shots? 🤔 😂
.
.
We got these (and several more) pumpkins from Tulley’s Farm in Sussex where I took the kids pumpkin hunting yesterday and they loved it! It was a real treat. But OMG there was Sooo much mud, because the shining sun of the past few days had disappeared and the heavens opened with pouring rain. So I had to haul them out the back of the car and just leave them at the door for a while before I could work out the logistics of getting them inside without ruining every inch of our flat with mud! I’m talking about the pumpkins, not the kids 😂
.
.
But the main reason I loved our trip yesterday was because I had no idea that pumpkins came in any other colour than orange! So I got totally excited and hunted down pink ones, blue ones and white ones too. My plan had been to get a load and paint them (of course!), but these were such pretty colours that I’ve left them au naturel on our Halloween table.

Coco has been doing her own little Autumn workshop and carving hers meticulously, but I MIGHT paint some of the orange ones that the Zach found later, so watch this space just in case.

In other news, I’m hosting #colourfiedhomes colourfiedhomes today and we’re thrilled to have just hit 10k followers!
