Morning everyone! So another anniversary today - it’s exactly a year ago that we brought home Duffy the Fluffy Puppy! It’s astonishing how much he’s changed since those first few days - (swipe for cuteness overload pictures on Day 1!).

The beanbag in Coco’s new room is his new favourite spot for snoozing, which is perfect really, because she actually bought him herself!

She’d begged me for a puppy for years, but I’d adamantly and consistently said ‘No’. Then when we moved here 2yrs ago she was literally sobbing with desperation to have one, “It’ll change my liiiiife, mummy!!!!” So instead of saying ‘No’ yet again, I said ‘Yes’! But only if she paid for the puppy herself from saving up her pocket money. She was thrilled. And I felt it was a marvellous and cunning plan, because on £3 a week, it would take her years. So I was saying ‘Yes’ (happy child), but really, saying ‘No’ (happy mum) 😎. .

She spent the next 10 months saving all her money, working really hard at my shows and doing chores for my mum and dad to earn more, but still she had nowhere near enough. 
.
Then out of the blue she got cast in an advert and was paid several hundred pounds in cash on the day. When I picked her up, she said, “Mum, mum, I’ve got enough!” “Enough for what?”, I asked casually. “Enough for a PUPPY”. “Oh”, I said 😂 And 2 months later we brought this fluff ball back from the Welsh borders!

A few weeks ago she unexpectedly got cast in another advert. This time she wanted a cat. “No”, I said. “A hedgehog then!” “No”. “A snake?! That’s my new favourite animal!” “Noooooo!” Basically she just wants more and more animals. I’ve said “No” full stop to any more. So yesterday she bought herself a second hand white Range Rover instead! More on that another day.
