Morning everyone! The cloth is off and I can finally reveal my upcycled black marble table! Swipe for its previous life in pine - left by the landlord👉🏻

Although I obviously love colour, I also REALLY love black and this has now given the kitchen much more of the feel I originally wanted - more like my imagined version of a New York deli kitchen. No doubt a New York deli kitchen looks absolutely nothing like this - and what even IS a New York deli kitchen (😂), but I do love the slightly harder, more glam edge and to me it feels like a little piece of heaven in the kitchen now.

craigandrosepaints #gifted me the spray paint for it, which is absolutely fantastic - in fact it’s magical and makes this effect incredibly easy to do. Essentially, you just spray paint the table with their black enamel first (which is really hard wearing!) Let it dry for 20 minutes and then spray the white marble effect on top - which is really fun because it comes out a bit like silly string! I’ve learnt sooo much about spray painting while doing this table and I did make some mistakes along the way, all of which you can see in my Stories Highlights, but after all that’s said and done, it was totally worth it in the end and I’m in love! My next goal is to style it up with plates and cutlery etc, for the full dinner party shot!

Happy Tuesday everyone!
