Morning everyone! [Ad #gifted] Well I managed to finish the ombré chairs! The whole process is in my highlights and I have to say the Craig & Rose eggshell paint is a dream to use on a project like this - really smooth and great coverage. However, I couldn’t finish the black marble table, because we ran out of black enamel! Gutted! I suppose it’s not surprising, because you’ll see on Stories that it was really windy when we were trying to spray. So Coco and I are off to the craigandrosepaints store in Nottinghill Gate this morning to pick up some more. Hopefully you’ll be able to watch us finish it off on Stories early this afternoon.

And then GOD ONLY KNOWS how we’re going to get it back up the stairs into the kitchen. 😂 Will have to put my thinking cap on 🤔 I have to say, I’m pretty physically strong and can do most things on my own as a single mum, but maneuvering big heavy furniture up and down stairs is usually the one thing that defeats me. I’m really waiting for the moment when my 13yr old boy can help me, because although during lockdown he has gone from my height to 3 inches taller than me and he is super strong, he is ALWAYS asleep! 😂 And when he’s not asleep he feels too tired to make any physical effort to do anything other than play video games and eat. Presumably because all his energy is going into growing. So, at what age did your teenage boys start being awake again during the day and helping you with the heavy lifting round the house?
