LOO MAKEOVER REVEAL - PART 3.

The next stage of the loo makeover is done! Last week I stenciled these pink geometric ‘tiles’ onto the old grey vinyl floor tiles using the left over paint from the pink fern leaves in the mural. Swipe for a closer look. It was really hard to get a picture showing all 4 ‘walls’ (including the new mustard ceiling), but I got it - just! .

This is actually the first time I’ve ever done stenciling and I have to say it’s much harder than I thought to get it perfect. Needless to say, mine isn’t! I’ve put the whole process in my Stories highlights if you didn’t catch them while I was doing it. If you want to while away the hours and play around a bit with paint, stenciling and painting murals are great creative projects to do. I do need to get some brush cleaner for my brushes though, because a couple sadly dried out during the process - a hazard of doing projects in bits while being constantly interrupted by home schooling and running a business - I mean really, how rude!😂

You may also notice the gorgeous new pink glass lampshade from madedotcom just peeping in top right. I’m thrilled by how perfectly it mirrors the pink fern leaves in the mural. .

Finally, I changed the picture on the pink wall outside the loo from the warm olivey orchid picture, to this lovely old black & white photo of old ladies chatting on a bench. With all the extra warm pink and mustard in the loo, I felt there needed to be cooler more neutral tones to freshen it and contrast with it. .
