Happy Sunday everyone! While I spent hours online last week attempting to find a food delivery service that I could still sign up to (no joy, I’ve missed the boat), I have to admit, I got momentarily distracted from my mission and indulged in a tiny bit of retail therapy myself. So I bought this weird and wonderful ochre plant thing that you can see in the pink glass vase. I can’t remember where I got it from or what it actually is and to be honest, it was a bit of a surprise when it arrived in the post a couple of days ago (😂), but I LOVE it! The colour, shape and texture are so perfect for the bathroom and it prompted me to switch some other things around too to create an even warmer more textural atmosphere. It’s difficult to describe how much joy it has given me since I put it in there! Small things, eh?! .
.
But it got me thinking that while we are all confined to our homes for weeks on end, it’s actually going to be quite important to change things up now and again, so that we don’t get driven slightly insane by looking at exactly the same view all the time. It could perhaps be a new thing here and there, but also simply switching things around can be hugely creatively stimulating and refreshing! .
.
So, as we Spring forward into British Summer Time, I now pronounce that rearranging your things is the new cool interiors trend of 2020!! .
