Morning everyone! Do you think I’ve gone too far with ‘bringing the outside in’?! 😂 Well actually, none of this is in fact the ‘outside’, because who can really afford shed loads of fresh flowers constantly during these times? Or any time?! But I do have a growing collection of stunning faux flowers, which are just brilliant. Interestingly, I find they have almost the same effect on me as real ones in terms of the joy they bring to a home. They’re a fab way of adding some easy extra colour, you can move them around for different looks and feels - and they never die!! They’re a bit like the final sprinkly decorations on top of a cake - they add that final prettiness and delight. So important for our souls at the moment! The only thing missing of course is the scent. But hey, we can use diffusers and scented candles for now. .
.
So on Wednesdays, we ... actually who knows anymore! Survive?! But THIS Wednesday, me and the kids will be checking up on all the fruit and vegetable seeds we planted yesterday, just in case our food or money runs out. I know it will encourage my boy to eat vegetables, because he’ll see that broccoli and think ‘wow, that was made by me!’ He may even go so far as claiming them for himself and ask us to make him an offer for them! That’s the plan, anyway 😂 .
.
Have a good one everyone! .
