1st day of home schooling and virtual isolation today! I already told my boy’s school that there was no way that, as a single parent, I was going to supervise a full day of school work for 2 kids on 2 different curricula, ‘completed to the highest standard’, while at the same time attempting to keep a business going now that all my shows have been cancelled and generally stay alive on virtually no money 😂.
.
So last night, me and the kids researched and made a plan about how we are going to boost our immune systems, get our lungs strong (mainly for me because I get allergic asthma), stay fit, get our work done and generally prepare for the future.
.
This is our plan -
.
🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻 🏋🏻‍♂️ running together round the garden (and possibly the fairly deserted woods behind it) with Duffy for 20 mins each morning. Then 10 mins of press ups, sit-ups, etc.
.
🥬🍊🥚🍳Healthy protein breakfast
.
👩🏻‍💻🧑🏽‍💻👨🏽‍💻3 x 45 sessions of school / business work - in my bedroom together, which is blooming beautiful in the morning sunshine. In fact, this is a view from the bedroom to the pink hallway, quite resplendent with its new window film.
.
🥗🥙🥘 Making & eating lunch together, with a rota of who cleans up
.
🧘🏻 10 minutes meditation together.
.
👩🏻‍🔧🧑🏻‍🔬👩🏼‍🏭 Sorting out something in the house together, which could include a decorating project!
.
🥦🧹🧺 Learning household chores, cooking, cleaning, growing vegetables etc.
.
4pm - free time! .
.
Anyway, best laid plans right?! 😂 God knows if we’ll stick to it, but part of the reason for putting it here is some public accountability and encouragement! .
.
#storyofmyhome - 23 - resplendent
#myhousethismonth - 23 - blooming beautiful
