Morning! So I am now saturating my work space with botanicals and lush greens, blues and teals, as deeply healing nourishing colours, to get us all through the imminent extended period of homeschooling, potential isolation and even sickness. I really do think these colours are going to help - in fact, they already are! Could this now be my new favourite room?! .
.
Luckily, in the nick of time, I just got this super comfortable cushioned velvet office chair (with a lovely discount from madedotcom) in the most delicious turquoisey teal blue that gives me instant joy just looking at it. It’s a huge difference from the hard immobile chairs I’ve been working on until now that were starting to give me backache. .
.
Also, rather joyously, this workspace sits in the corner of my bedroom, which overlooks our garden and is just a stone’s throw from the woodland that backs onto it. So the optimistic plan is for me and the kids to diligently work in here together every morning, basking in the East facing morning sunlight, saying hello to spring, as we watch our homegrown vegetables flourish in the garden and educating ourselves about ornithology, as we listen to the woodpeckers, owls and blackbirds in the woods. Let’s see how that’s getting on in a week’s time 😂 Good luck everyone! .
