Morning everyone! OMG you wouldn’t believe the last 48hrs I’ve had! It all started on Wednesday morning when my car tyre was slashed during school drop off. The AA wouldn’t rescue me because it turned out my tax had run out (I hadn’t received the reminder). I finally got to a post office to sort it out, totally frazzled, only to bump into 2lgstudio with their super cute buckleywonderdog! Bless them, they looked after Duffy outside while I got my tax. Thank you so much guys!! 😘. .
.
Tax sorted, the AA arrived with no equipment to get the wheel off and so they hauled me to KwikFit - who couldn’t do it either. I just happened to have a designers’ lunch hosted by the delightful abdesignandinteriors close by, so ready to abandon all hope, I turned up to their absolutely stunning lunch in my very scruffy muddy dog-walking clothes looking like a scarecrow, with everyone else looking gorgeous in floaty pretty clothes and shiny hair 😂 To cut a very long story short, the AA eventually rescued my car yesterday afternoon. .
.
However, on Wednesday I SHOULD have been prepping my flat for an Evening Standard shoot yesterday, because it was still in chaos from my show. So instead I started working at 4am Thursday to get it all spick & span. But when the photographer arrived his brief was actually to photograph Me, not the flat (albeit me in the flat) 😂 He wanted the last shot on the swing in the garden that had been there for 20yrs. I jumped on, the huge branch broke, I crashed to the ground and the branch landed on my leg. I actually thought it might be broken, but luckily it's just badly bruised. Happy Friday 13th everyone! 😂
