Morning everyone! Oh my goodness, Living Etc magazine asked me to send them my Ginkgo in Green print (above the pink chair) for a Tropicana shoot yesterday! So I thought I better include a quick shot, as I won’t have it back for a week - and now there’s a big gap! I thought about putting a mirror on the wall in the meantime, but actually it is excellent motivation for more painting this weekend. As if I needed more motivation when my show opens a week today! Yikes! .
.
I’m opening my flat to the public next weekend and the weekend after as part of the artistsopenhouse.crystalpalace, during which 91 other artists and designers in Crystal Palace will also be opening their homes and studios to exhibit and sell their work. It’s a fantastic event if you want to make a day of it. Crystal Palace also has loads of incredible cafes, restaurants, independent gift and interiors shops and the famous vintage and antique shops of Church Rd. .
.
As well as exhibiting my own art and designs I will be hosting 3 other really wonderful designers in my flat - check them out!
.
> untoldjewellerylondon - Stunning jewellery made from ethical and reclaimed gold and gems.
.
> foredays - absolutely beautiful ceramics - I might not let her leave! 😂
.
> bumble3earwig - the most adorable miniature faux felt taxidermy. .
.
Also, just wanted to give a big shout out to the charming man who was the Uber driver delivering my picture yesterday. He went beyond the call of duty to get it to the right place in the building and all with a big smile!! .
.
Finally, a big thank you to all the #givemeallthecolor🌈 team!
.
#storyofmyhome - 22 - this charming man
