Morning everyone! Welcome to all my new followers who have come from #colormadetheroom!! It’s incredible to receive so much enthusiasm for my little London flat from around the world! THANK YOU everyone! If you love colour and aren’t following this hashtag yet, then do it now! It’s just been an amazing January on insta - swipe to see my Jan roundup and hashtag prompts for myhousethismonth. .

So I’ve never shown you this side of my bedroom before because it’s never quite worked. However, a few weeks ago I was given this beautiful 1930s wardrobe for FREE from a local shop that was refurbishing and needed to throw it out. How amazing is that?! It was actually pale wood coloured, so obviously I painted it turquoise and voila! It transformed the room. I’ve dressed it up a bit for the shot with fantastic lights that I literally tripped over in my daughter’s bedroom this morning and thought - Ah, perfect! 😂 .
.
I also just got this gorgeous Pinky Lion rug from Luxeology, which I am totally in love with! Mind you, he was saved from a terrible fate last night, because I was woken at 3am by an awful smell, to find my puppy having diarrhea on the blue rug (not the lion, thank goodness). OMG! Because it was dark I couldn’t see it, so then I stepped in it!! 😫 However, yet again I’ve used an outdoor rug in the bedroom, so I cleaned it up easily with NO STAIN. Hurrah!! But I did have to seriously shower down both me and the puppy. Hence my late post today - no sleep! 😫 .
.
Have any of you had an amazing piece of furniture given to you for free? .
