Happy Blue Monday everyone! And a big warm welcome to all my new followers, thanks to the fabulous support of storyofmyhome and greenandmustard over the weekend. Thank you so much guys! 🙌🏻 Well, this is supposedly the most depressing day of the year. But I think you can totally beat the blues on Blue Monday by surrounding yourself with some fabulous colour that lifts your spirits! Of course, that can include blue itself - and I have to say I love the intensity of this Smalt blue wall in my living room. I originally painted it for a product shoot a few months ago, but I loved it so much I decided to keep it. Contrasted with the pink lamp, pink artworks (which I’ve decided I’m going to collect!) and all my coffee table art books, it makes me smile every time I see it - and definitely lifts any Monday blues. By the way, as this is a rented property, I’ve promised the landlord I’ll paint it back if he doesn’t want to keep it! .
.
So, I’m curious to know what colour lifts your spirits the most at the moment? .
